Your classroom teacher will host two Back to School Night sessions tomorrow night at 5:00-5:25pm and 5:30-5:55pm. Be on the lookout for Zoom links from your child's teacher and join at the time that works with your schedule. The purpose of Back to School Night is to give parents more information about what your child will be learning this year so you can support efforts at home. 

We still have a few slots open for room parents!  We are especially in need of help with the 4th grade classrooms. Room parents are responsible for organizing games and crafts for class parties, assisting teachers with classroom-specific projects and sending reminders for teacher recognition. Want to be in the know regarding class parties and special projects? Provide your contact information so room parents can keep you up-to-date. This also will give you an opportunity to be involved on a project basis if you missed out on being a room parent. 

The PTO is pleased to once again provide all students and staff with a Hawk Pride t-shirt. Please make your way to the PTO site, register (it's free) and provide your child's shirt size. Peruse the site while you're there for great information on all the happenings at OHE! 

Not only does volunteering help build children's capacity for kindness, compassion and selflessness, but it can also teach them a variety of life skills. Don't forget to log your service hours for student and school recognition.
