Hello,

      I’m looking forward to a normal 2022-23 school year! I know my kids are excited about the renovated classrooms and the return of field trips! This year we will have two free family events. The first will be the Hawk Block Party on 9/23 and a game night in the spring. We want to bring back the sense of fellowship and community that was lost during the pandemic.

      We’ll have two major fundraising activities this year. In September, OHE students will participate in an online fundraising drive. There will be prizes for students and classes that raise the most money. On Saturday 2/25, there will be an adult only trivia night fundraiser. Throughout the year the PTO provides meals to staff, gives money for field trips, pays several online subscriptions, and gives all OHE students and staff school year themed t-shirt. With extra money raised this year we hope to update the library collection.

      Every other week the PTO will send out a newsletter with event reminders and other activities happening at school. If you’re looking for ways to get involved with the PTO or want to volunteer email me or look for a signup link in the newsletter.
