Invest

Oak Hill has an annual "Invest in Oak Hill" campaign. This is a 100% direct, tax deductible way to support our great kids and teachers, and you help us meet our school's needs that are outside the scope of their budget. All money donated through Invest goes into the PTO Budget to support our school, which is used to fund things like field trips, digital subscriptions, treats for teachers, and more. 

 We encourage a $50 per family Invest donation.

Employee Matching

 Employee matching gift programs are corporate giving programs in which an employer matches donations made by employees to eligible nonprofit organizations, like Oak Hill Elementary’s PTO. It's an easy way to double your contribution! Search your corporate giving site for Oak Hill Elementary PTO. Make sure to select Oak Hill Elementary in Overland Park, KS. Then, donate and request a match right there. In many cases you can upload a receipt from a previous donation and request a match as well. If you’ve registered your child for the 2023-2024 school year and elected to contribute to the “Invest in Oak Hill” fund, that $50 donation is eligible!  

All OHE families are Automatically members of the PTO!

   -does that mean I have to?

• Go to meetings?
  No. You are welcome to attend our general meetings though. We have monthly board meetings where we welcome parental input, and we try to have at least one evening general meeting in the fall and one in the spring.
  
  
• Volunteer or spend a lot of time at school?
  Nope! Joining the PTO is not the same as volunteering. If you choose to volunteer we would LOVE the help, but volunteering is not required.
